Below you will find the housing market statistics for Quarter 3, 2019. This shows you the numbers for July, August and September compared to the previous two years.
The third quarter of 2019 continued to be a strong one for the Windsor and Essex County real estate market, especially for residential properties. The region experienced a Year to Date increase of 14.27% in the average sales price, an increase of 9.14% in total sales and a 13.36% increase in total listings. With continued interest in Windsor-Essex real estate from both local and out-of-town buyers, the local real estate market is expected to remain strong.
The demand for homes for sale in Windsor and Essex County continues to exceed the supply, leading to higher home prices and more competition for available properties. This also continues to show the benefits of working with a REALTOR to make sure that your property receives the most exposure when you're ready to sell, and to help you find the right homes as they become available when you're looking to buy.
